Healthy body, healthy mind

I treat individuals and couples, in a confidential, non-judgemental, person-centred approach. My practice is called “Changes” as I believe that each of us has the capacity for positive change.

‘ The guided relaxation used in hypnotherapy means anyone can achieve the desired level of relaxation that allows myself and my client to work together to explore the root cause of their issue, once revealed can be processed and released.’

‘ Hypnotherapy is an effective tool to achieve neuroplasticity (the ability of the brain to rewire itself). It can be used to create new neural pathways which results in the change of thoughts, emotions and behaviour – if you do what you’ve always done you’ll get what you’ve always got, so change it!’

I am based in Beckenham in the London borough of Bromley.

What is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a skilled communication aimed at directing a person’s imagination in a way that helps elicit changes in some perceptions, sensations, feelings, thoughts and behaviours.

The first appointment includes an initial consultation, during which the hypnotherapist and client will discuss the intended alterations or therapeutic goals desired. The hypnotherapist will ask questions about previous medical history, general health and lifestyle to decide on the best approach for the individual.

Choosing a practitioner

It is important to choose a qualified hypnotherapist who has undertaken all the necessary training to understand the theory and practice of hypnotherapy. By choosing hypnotherapists registered with the NRHP you can be confident that they are properly trained, qualified and insured.

Julia Daley is a recognised and registered member of NRHP and meets the strict criteria for such membership.
